Description

i loved this when it was first posted as a dress but couldn't have it printed anywhere. So very pleased when this variation came along. I found some of the assembly a bit tricky, the front panel baffled me for while.Although not perfect I am very satisfied with how it turned out. The next one i make i will shorten/lower the chiffon pieces above the bust as i think it looks slightly matronly

Materials

printed cotton + off white cotton

    moving on to shirts

Almost identical to the original, and just as pretty.

I really like your version, I understand what you mean about the alterations that’s the great thing about sewing you can restyle a garment the way you want to make it, be proud as this is a very pretty version of this pattern.

hoping for a dress form for Xmas!

I really like your version but I agree about the bustline being matronly. It's the one thing I don't like about this pattern - the chiffon on the bodice so I'm leaving it off when I make mine. My girls should be able to handle a lower bodice! I'm going to take your advice VictorS and draft my own piece for the missing tile. I messaged a few weeks ago about the status of fixing the pattern and have had no reply. I'm getting impatient!
