And my obsession with dresses continues...when the announcements at school informed me of the upcoming dance, I just knew I was going to be making my own dress. So at first it included a halter type thing and was white, then it was white but backless and with a bow in the back, and now its sparkly turquoise and strapless! Now to anyone out there contemplating the combination of busting a move and wearing a strapless dress, you are ill advised. Not to infer that there was a mishap of any sort, but after a "to left! take it back now y'all!", there was no "hop one time". I absolutely LOVE the red buttons (which matched my red nails!) which was my way of avoiding stretchy material + zipper complications. I am SOOO glad I finished it in time (exactly an hour before) because I saw about 4 girls wearing the same dress I had as a back-up!

bet you got a lot of compliments at the dance!
This dress looks great on you and the colour is fab. Love the button idea also
Ohhh, la la! Belle of the ball! So Pretty, I love it! Go make em' green with envy Cinderella! :)
Looks very sweet :)
Very cute!! I really love the color. Have fun at your dance!
This is gorgeous! That color looks stunning on you, and it falls so perfectly! I know what you mean about dance-restricting dresses, though! I once learned that swing dancing with dips plus a looong dress........well, they don't work together. :) I like your fascinator, too. I need to make me one of those.......
This is so cute I really like the silhouette an color.
thanks everyone! to antigone: i made the fascinator myself! it was super easy and it totally added to the retro-glam feel of the outfit. feathers + rhinestones + comb = awesomeness!
you look so good!! poor 4 girls with the same dress, it must be awful :S
adorable! great job! i wish i still had homecomings to wear pretty dresses to - there is a severe lack of dress-up events in my life!
Your creations are always so great. I'm with the person above me, I wish I had more dress-up events in my life too.
Beautiful dress!
Absolutely gorgeous! Love the hair too!
this is beautiful! the dress is SO cute and you look great in it :) also, i LOVE your shoes (i have a thing with shoes) where did you get them? (i'll get myself a pair next time i'm in the US i also love the hairpiece! i was thinking of making one for myself, but my hair is too this so i'm not sure i can war those comby thingies. maybe i'll use a hair clip instead
The dress is lovely, in fact, all your creations are really interesting! What talent and initiative!
