Description

I made a version of Simplicity 4940 for a elf dress in the style of Lord of the Rings, but I didn't have an shoes to go with it. When I saw the Dorothy Ballerina Slippers I knew I could make the perfect elf shoes with scraps from the dress.

Materials

Polyester Shantung, Embroidered Nylon/Polyester blend, Heavy Canvas, Cotton Batting, leftover dress trim

These shoes are wonderful!!! It would be so great to be able to make these with really sturdy outdoor soles for everyday wear!! Well done-these are great.
