Well, I called this one the Eco skirt, because it is made of naturally-dyed, organic cotton I bought in a shop in Berlin, Prenzlauer Berg. The colour is a bit eco indeed, but I like it very much. I wish there was more fabric like that available, but it still is rare and - of course - expensive… I made the skirt without a pattern. I sewed a yoke the rest is a simple rectangle of fabric that I gathered and sewed onto the yoke. As I had some fabric left, I made a kind of belt that is fastened on one side, on the other side I tie a knot. I’m still practising to tie it more decorative…

beautiful. i also appreciate the eco friendly nature of the skirt.
This is so pretty! I like the color and texture of the fabric, as well as the simplicity in the design.
Great skirt! The whole outfit is cool! I was also searching for organic fabrics, but they were thrice the price of "normal" fabrics and that is too expensive for a student a like me :(
Great skirt and the fabric is fantastic!
Its a great color - I agree organic fabric is just so expensive

Your a natural, brill.
It would be nice if organic fabrics were more readily available, wouldn't it? Love this skirt--the kind of earthy look to it, both color and style-wise, fits the whole eco-vibe perfectly.
Extra nice! It looks good. I would definately make one like it.
your skirt is beau-mous!
the shops where i live have the organic cotton/linen/hemp fabrics for sale all the time, but again, their 2x, 3x, & 4x, respectivley, the price of regular fabric. & yeah, its really too much for a student.
