So, I decided to join the Kasia sew-along. And then I picked the most stripey fabric I'd ever worked with. And then I got a new, full-time job, leaving me very little time for sewing... After all I managed to finish my Kasia and I am quite happy with it. The stripes were a pain to match, though, which ment the skirt almost ended up in the UFO-corner. I made two changes: a classic overlapping slit at the back, instead of the easier not-completely-closed back seam and I didn't make the whole double closure thing. On my skirt, the buttons are the real closure and that works just fine. I made the pockets a little deeper so they're still functional. (please excuse me for the wrinkles, I had worn the skirt before taking pictures)

It's lovely! I want to make a Kasia next, the stripe fabric looks really good!
It looks great! I like how you put the stripes in a different direction for the pockets.
