Anda took a trip back in time. She stopped off in the 1920s and discovered dropped waists were all the rage. Then fifty years later, she found some gawdy orange and beige striped fabric and wondered how well they'd go together.
The Anda Pattern got well and truly altered to my standards. Thank god for sticky tape and glue.
For starters I reduced the pattern to a size 6 bust.
After seeing the 'inverted arch' shapes in a few publications I decided to create a yoke for Anda in that style. I took a guess, and marked the shapes on the pattern, and added the usual seam allowance.
Instead of having a high waist and the cord, I decided to drop the waist using elastic.
The original Anda has a very wide A-line shape, for this version I squared things up a bit, tapering at least 2 inches out of each seam.

Nice variation of Anda!
I think it's great. You did a really good job.
Oh My! I love it. I like the retro casual feel about it.
