another dress / tunic that I sewed for my sister a while ago.
she wore it yesterday on a garden party. the original pattern is from an evening gown from the bwof 12 / 2007.
to trim the stripes / frills was a very hard work, because of this slippery fabric and it took a long time. and I was gald when I finished ;P!

Great tunic! It looks really great and it was totally worth the effort! Good idea to change the pattern into a summerdress!
How come I missed this? The tunic is beautiful! I didn't see the potential of this pattern until now. Thanks for posting this, I might consider making a summer dress out of it.
