my sister make holidays here in dresden and we had time to sew with each other. I serge the pattern pieces together and she stitch and sewed the elastic band on the dresses. what a great divison of work - we´re finished after a few hours!
instead to use a zipper we made the pattern pieces larger and added elastic band under the bust so that she can pull it easily over her head.
and now she have two new summer dresses for the heat days - yippie ;P

I love the fabrics you used and the dresses look so cool and comfortable! I tried to teach my sister to sew once...it didn't go so well. She says that she likes the "sweet urban garden" in your photos--I think she's referring to the tomatoes.
