took my disc to have the pattern printed. the guy there had a look but said the pattern was far too big to print off and it that it had been created incorrectly.(Which i can't see being the case) he wanted to put it on A0 size pieces then enlarge them until it 'looked about right'. So my question is has anyone else had this problem or is it just the printer guy who doesn't quite know what to do?
If you can't, tell the guy he is welcome to print it as many times as he deems necessary to get it come out the right size (test square measurements), but you only pay once. After all, that's the service you pay for, it's not your fault if they can't work their equipment.
The size of the patter pdf is adjusted to a regular poster size, which means 3 feet wide paper. Most larger copyshops offer that size print. If not at your local one, Fedex Kinkos definitely can help you.
Here is some help how to do that:

Make sure they print the size as is, and do not scale it!

If you can, try another place.
