Sorry y'all. I don't know what's up with that link. Let me try again: here.
I hope that works, if not, let me know and I'll just write out the whole thing...
I also found another one. I think it could be easily altered a bit into exactly what you're looking for, Zora. I'm still scrounging. Again, I'll post with more if I find them.
Gah. Nevermind. I can't get the links to work. So I'll write them out. First one is www.wkdesigner.wordpress.com/2008/08/18/summer-wide-brimmed-hat. The second is www.curiouslycrafty.wordpress.com/milinery.
Thank you Antigone, I like both patterns :D
I found another cap pattern here and there is a nice Japanese hat pattern here. The instruction has some pictures and I think it's possible to sew that hat even if you do not understand Japanese
One of the items on this site
http://www.fmfcorp.com/familyspot/haircover.html#Sewing
is a Wild Things/wild ginger software freebie, this program enables you to design your own hat patterns to your measurement specifications. My faves on the program are the sun hat, newsboy and beret. Another link is: http://www.dailycandy.com/new_york/article/28693/Making+Headway which features a great cloche pattern (free;)
Another great beret pattern can be found here:http://www.marthastewart.com/article/woolen-beret?autonomy_kw=beret&rsc=image_1.

I was thinking the same thing. There are no hats. I'd like to see a classic cloche hat.
There's a pattern for a wide-brimmed hat here. There's a "how-to make a pillbox hat" on threadbanger.com.
If I think of any more, I'll post them.
Antigone, your link isn't working for me?!? I'd love some hat patterns, something like this would be great.
dear Antigone.. I think you copy paste the -http- twice or else... happened to me before. You may double check.. thanks
