2Min Blouse from Ugly T-Shirt (8445 Views)

Make a stylish blouse out of an outdated shapeless T-Shirt which you might intended to give to a Thrift Store but never did. A T-shirt that makes you look tired and sluggish and unattractive can be a blouse that makes you look comfortable, beautiful and hip in just a couple minutes. There are many different variations to this kind of transformation, but this is the one I like the best.

Step 1 of 5

Lay a plain old lose fitting t-shirt flat and cut as seen in the picture. Your cutting line on the sleeves is going to be just about parallel to the shirt body.
Step 2 of 5

Take the pieces from the cut off sleeves and make one 6 inch band from each of them.
Step 3 of 5

(Optional) Cut a slit mid way into the sleeve towards shoulder seem.
Step 4 of 5

Pin the 6 inch bands to the shirt as shown.
Step 5 of 5

Lastly, take the band which you cut off of the end of the shirt and use it as a belt to accentuate your waste. Thanks for looking. : )

You go girl! Just love it, I always hated t-shirts with crew necks and i always ended up cutting the neck out if i wore it, but i didn't think about the sleeves this has made the t-shirts more feminine. I have already put one together and i love it. Thanks so much for sharing, you have made my day!!
