Old Time Pinafore Apron (2082 Views)

This is the apron that many of the crafters and musicians wear at the Ozark Folk Center where I work as a seamstress. I make these on the treadle sewing machine there.

    Step 1 of 4

    Skirt: Cut two lengths of fabric, 45" wide for the skirt. Cut one piece of fabric in half lengthwise. Sew each half to a side of the larger piece. Hem sides and bottom.



Materials

About 3 1/2 yards of cotton calico fabric.

    I've always wanted an old time pinafore! I wish there were more pictures (maybe they arent working?) to help with the instructions.
