Hand Sewn Blind Stitch (2682 Views)

You will find many occasions to use the blind stitch, a stitch which is used quite extensively in dressmaking. It is used when virtually no stitch is to show on either side of your garment, and is most appropriately used on hems, bias bands and folds.

    Step 1 of 6

    Press and fold the seam allowance to the wrong side of garment. Don’t fret over the excess seam allowance, this will be remedied while utilizing the blind stitch.
