    Preparing for a friend's wedding

Hey Lukastoka, I don't know what to say... you are very nice, thank you so much for your kind words. What you've wrote in my wall is so inspiring, tender and push me up. It doesnt' surprise at all because I had great experience in Egypt because people is just like you, so sweet and very kind. Your words meant a lot to me. The same way, I have to tell you, any time you come to the Netherlands, I'll be happy to see you!!

    creating new work clothes. Whee!

Hi thanks for the compliment. I use both patterns and draping because patterns never seem to fit me right. If you invest in a dress form with your measurements i"m sure you will love it. Draping is more creatively liberating to me than patterns. And you have so much room to play!

Thanks for the comments. And yes, it was a fashion show that I put on for the girls at my church to show them that you can be modest and still stylish. It was a success.

    Acquiring a fabric stash!

Regarding the paper dress form, you are right! It is a very close model of your own body since you wrap the tape around yourself. I haven't made any clothes yet, but that is something I would like to do soon. I imagine it would help very much with sizing and modifying to your own fit. Good luck if you decide to try it yourself, and let us know how it works for you!
