CHRI_STINE's WALL (10)
thanks for the love on my jane dress... i hope the rain lets up for you soon!
Thanks for the comment on my top. I really like that pattern it has a lot of potential. I was thinking the gather at the front could be done as a box pleat and the yoke could have a high neck line. I will look for the perfect fabric for the second version!
Hey Christine! thanks for your comments! No I didn't overlock it. The overlocker has its temperament so I couldn't be bothered ah woua... Anyway, you'll see what I mean when you come over! Happy sewing whatever you choose between your several ideas! Cheersx
Oh waow that sounds great! You can really bring any garment to a different level with such details! And you will have to post the pattern ;)! It is nice to have a deadline as special as a wedding!I just got French curves this morning (as I ate too much camembert yesterday evening eh eh) to draft ... curves(that's a perfect statement for my 'is currently' box!). I just bought an overlocker machine last week so if you want to make a tee-shirt or jersey based garment (I only have white thread cones at the moment), bring your fabric over! At the moment, I don't dare trying it, it is very impressive thread lacing configuration. Ok, I am coming and going away quite a lot from London in August. I just decided to go to Rotterdam today because I am slightly bored in London. I also go to France, I am back on the 17th of August. Let's try to catch up before you are off!x
Hey Christine! Thanks for your comment on my blouse (I did most of the pleating at work and didn't get caught he hehe) I am fine and you? Did you enjoy your course at the London College of Fashion? Any idea what you want to sew next?I am looking forward to get away from London for a bit though... Come over for tea if you have time this month or after your holidays! XX Helene
Thanks! C: My brother lives in London and I was visiting his place in January. Maybe I didn't know where to look, but I didn't see any fabric stores! Where do you buy your fabrics? Is there some bigger store chain that sells fabrics or just some private shops?
You keep us waiting ;)!
Cool! Und was arbeitest du dort? Wo kommst du denn ursprünglich her?
Gre aus Halle :) Sprichst du deutsch?/Are you speaking german? Thanks for your comment on my dress :)
