fiddling with a Sailor Moon outfit!

Dear Nikki, First, congratulations on becoming a citizen of Australia. Wherever you emigrated from, that country has lost a real asset; Australia has gained one. Second, during the pattern drought, thanks for giving us a way to redownload. With regard to the Thai fisherman's pants pattern, I am trying to figure out the numbering order of the notches. the middle (?) row has none across and some of the columns are mis-labeled. I finally got the pattern together, but I'd like to be able to send the "probable" order in to the office for checking. Cordially Nehmah

Working on pajamas, quilt and Lydia

Hi - just wanted to tell you I really like your creations. You are a very clever lady. I also have 3 girls (my youngest is almost 5 months) I have only started to teach myself to sew since my youngest was born. Am finding it difficult to find the time, and when I do find it am usually too tired- hopefully will have more time as she gets bigger!!

waiting for my machine to arrive.

I remember the feeling when I became a UK citizen (I'm Canadian born)... all of a sudden a load was lifted (mostly made of paperwork)!
Thanks for all of the inspiration and the support you give to everyone...

    trying to serge

My goodness- you are so prolific in sewing and it can't be easy with little kids! Thanks for your comment on my scarves. They are all handknit. It would be fun to learn about a knitting machine, but I am having too much just trying to get to know my two week old serger.I love your little animals . If you use wool in your knitting machine, you could make a bit extra felt it and make your animals from that. maybe you do, but an art teacher once told me that it made wonderful toys.

    Will post creations SOON!

ooo---I hadn't thought to put the long sleeves but keep the gathered top! That sounds nice, like it'd wear well into fall and winter! I really like this neckline, i was thinking of making the dress version of the pattern but keep the simpler neckline. Glad you like it, and glad to hear you're sewing again! RB

    glowing from her Kasia feedback

Hi Nikki, thanks for your compliment on my Kasia. Your comment on not having the time made me laugh as i'm often blown away by the volume you manage to create considering you have children! You'll be sewing before you know it :)
