SHORTIEY's WALL (10)
I really like the dress! If you should be bored: what about a how-to? :) Btw: Your other creations are great as well.
thanks so much for coming back to check in! =) it IS a fun challenge to see what i might come up with next with that i've been "given" sort of speak. i'm almost afraid that i wont have any ideas with a flat piece of new fabric with ENDLESS possibilities! and a show? that actually sounds like a lot of fun. did you ever watch painting with Bob Ross on the PBS? "happy trees... happy happy clouds". he spread the joy of painting onto everyone! i'd love to do that too. =)
loool i actually love coming back to your profile to see how many more monstrosities you've brought back from deaths door and completely changed and i must say i'm very impressed! i WISH i could do that i'm a bit of a big girl so there's not much i can do with my old stuff :( You should be given a tv show or start off with tutorials on youtube, tc xx
He,he! Don't get me wrong, I love your dresses, and they fits you soOooo good, but "short" thing was interesting to me and i must to made joke of it! I hope that I did't bother you!! KiSSES!!!
hahaha... my dresses are all short for now because i'm practicing sewing skills/techniques with thrift store dresses and dont have enough fabric! but i have to admit... for shorter legged ladies... these accentuate them nicely. wink
stay tuned for longer formal dresses in the future! =) honestly dont know WHY i'm called "shortiey" when i'm a whole 4'11" tall!! =P
In your nick - name "short" stands with reason ;))) Love your work... everything is bautyfull and sexy!
Hey thanks for leaving me a comment, I'm loving your creations! They're pretty impressive for someone who's just starting out, I'd be glad to help out with any questions you have if you ever need. Re: where I learn't to sew? I have my mum and my aunts who did some form of sewing, so I've always been around it. I did go to college for three years after high school to study Fashion design so that's where I learn't how to pattern make what I was designing, fine tuned my sewing and was shown new techniques.
Hey - you're welcome, it really is a great dress! I'm writing my thesis in journalism sigh but I hope to finish soon...
thank you again for your answer, i will soon try to make a dress like that my own. looking forward to see more off your work, you are a big inspiration to me:)
thank you for the comment on my gold jumpsuit:) my sister took the picture for my in a wood where there is a big lake near my hometown here in Denmark:)
