An easy-going pattern that is nice to work with and will fit a wide range of body-types. Also easy and fun to 'customize', from fancy party-skirt to sober office-skirt. I added a lining (I usually do) to mine for better comfort, although the pattern also works well without for most fabrics. The instructions are good (as far as I know, I don't really read instructions so carefully). Please avoid my mistake of putting the interfacing with the straight grain vertically on the front and back facings, this will allow the waist to still be slightly elastic, the skirt ending up in having a two sizes larger waist than it was meant to. Thus, the straight grain should go horizontally, from side to side on the facings.
